Christmas Activity with Associação Sol
As a part of our annual tradition of giving back to the communities where we operate, this year, we had the immense pleasure of organizing a special Christmas activity at Associação Sol. The evening was marked by moments of fun, learning and connection.
Our team was joined by the talented author Magda Roque, who read her delightful story “The Giraffe with Heart-Shaped Spots” to the children. The story follows a very unique giraffe in her journey to embracing her differences and carries a beautiful message of self-love and acceptance. The children loved the tale, and each received a copy, to remember the day.
Thanks to our very generous team members, we were also able to deliver food supplies and hygiene products that will support the remarkable work carried out by Associação Sol.

Founded in 1992, Associação Sol initially focused on supporting children and young people living with HIV/AIDS. Their mission has evolved to include a broader scope, welcoming those at risk or in need of a safe environment.
Associação Sol is a home that operates in a family-like environment, offering not just shelter but a comprehensive approach that addresses the diverse needs of the children and young people under their care, such as medical, emotional and psychological support, educational development and social integration.
