WinPower operates both on the national and international markets for over 30 years, engineering, developing, operating and maintaining power generation solutions as well as provision of various services for the energetic transition. 

One of the strategic goals of our organization is to give an opportunity to engineers that want to participate in disruptive projects on the energy field and build, along with the WinPower team, new opportunities on the area of green hydrogen and industry decarbonization.

With this misshin in mind, WinPower’s Human Resources team has vacancies available for Engineering internships for those who want to take part in this challenge.  

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Someone recently graduated from college in the Engineering field, or someone with previous relevant experience; 

• Degree of emphasis on Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Markets and Energy,  Energy Production, Transport & Distribution; 

• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team; 

• Someone with a dinamic, proactive, responsible personality, who is eager to learn; 

• Knowledge in softwares such as AutoCAD and Solid Works is valued; 

• Fluent both in written and spoken English; 

• Available to travel both national and internationally; 

• Elegible for a Professional IEFP Internship (MANDATORY)

WHAT ROLE WILL YOU PLAY?

• Requirement and specifications analysis for Energy projects; 

• Investigation and simulation of actions for energetic transition projects; 

• Design Engineering solutions for the required areas (green hydrogen, Solar PV and hydro); 

• Perform internventions in both national and international projects; 

• Participate on the creation of technical and commercial proposals; 

• Be a part of an experienced and international team.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR? 

• Integrated Master or degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy sector;

• Training in the Energy Sector, namely in Electrical Machines, Power Transformers, HV, MV and LV grids, electrical protections, general electrical installations, automation and instrumentation & command;

• Willingness to work in a multidiscipline teams in operational environment;

• Dynamic attitude, proactive, responsible and willingness to learn;

• Knowledge and ability to analyze and prepare project documents (technical notices, technical specifications, spreadsheets, electrical calculations, material lists, bill of quantities, evaluation of errors/omissions in third-party projects, etc.);

• Our preference is given to candidates with some knowledge of electrical calculation and technical drawing software (ETAP, PSS®SINCAL, Eplan, PVSyst, Autocad, etc.);

• Domain of Microsoft Office tools;

• Good level of writing;

• Fluent in English (written and spoken);

• Availability for national and international travel;

• Up to 5 years of experience as engineer.

WHAT ROLE WILL YOU PLAY?

• Carry out the design of engineering solutions in the energy area, according to the requirements, customer specifications and applicable standards;

• Coordinate activities and milestones with the Project Manager/Department Manager to ensure efficient project management;

• Traveling to sites to supervise and follow up the activities and coordinate tasks and meetings at site;

• Carry out interventions on site according to the needs of the assembly or commissioning of projects and/or installations;

• Analyze the Client’s requirements and specifications to prepare offers and solutions in the energy sector;

• Prepare technical offers in collaboration with the commercial team and participate in the development of new solutions in the energy market.

MISSION

Integrate WinPower’s Engineering & Production team, developing solutions for the energetic production area, according to clients’ requisites and specifications, applicable standards and internal procedure.

Contribute to the elaboration, follow-up and implementation of projects of the Mechanical specialty for industrial installations on the Energy field (thermal, electrical and renewable).

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

• Integrated Masters or degree in engineering with a specialization on the Energy field and/ or applied thermodynamics;
• Knowledge and ability to develop industrial installation solutions;
• Knowledge of calculation basis for dimensioning and selection of equipment and mechanical installations;
• A good proficiency in construction and mechanical design standards is required;
• Creation and execution of diagrams (PID, PDF, etc);
• Knowledge and ability in creating project documents (descriptions, technical specifications, quantities maps and project evaluation);
• Knowledge of the applicable standards (ISO, NP, EN, ASME, API, NFPA, KKS…)
• Strong understanding and knowledge of systems such as heat recovery, renewable energy and industrial processes;
• Curious, creative, autonomous, and rigorous, knows how to work in a team and find innovative solutions according to the client’s needs;
• English proficiency will be valued;
• Availability to travel both nationally and abroad;
• Ability to work as a part of a multidisciplinary team;

WHAT ROLE WILL YOU PLAY?

• Design engineering solutions on the energy field, in accordance with Clients’ requisites and specifications and applicable norms;
• Coordinate, with the Project Manager, the activities and milestones in order to ensure an efficient project management;
• Travel to ongoing works to monitor and coordinate activities and meetings;
• Perform interventions according to work needs for assembly or project commissioning;
• Analyse Clients’ requisites and specifications in order to elaborate proposals and energy solutions;
• Create technical proposals in cooperation with the commercial team as well as participate on the development of new energy solutions.

MISSION

Join WinPower’s Energy Transition team, providing energy solutions for power generation, within market requirements, specifications, applicable standards and internal quality procedures. Contribute to performing, following-up and implementation of an energy renewable future. These projects will be typically H2, Green Fuels, Energy Communities & Mobility.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering (preferably Electrical);
• Advanced knowledge of appropriate software (MS Office and Project, AutoCAD, etc);
• At least 2 year experience in similar or complimentary roles;
• Preferably with a background in energy projects or Oil & Gas;
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal (fluency in English)
• Ability to work as a part of a multidisciplinary team.

WHAT ROLE WILL YOU PLAY? 

• This position will be responsible for developing or follow-up of green field projects, together with the existing team;
• Actively participate in the licensing, Basic Design, FEED and actual implementation;
• Co-coordinate, develop and lead conversations of upcoming as well as existing projects, managing their development up to execution (including coordination of engineering/tenders & procurement/detailed fronting for different stakeholders & entities- integrated within the team);
• Engage in meeting legal and regulatory framework, contracting, financial model development and solve the need for utilities needed.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

• Bachelors of integrated Masters degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering on the Energy area;
• Knowledge of systems and energy generation solutions as well as industrial installations;
• Commercial experience on the creation of business budgeting and integrated proposals (minimum 5 years);
• Knowledge and ability to analyse tendering elements (At least 5 years combined experience in thermal project design and participation in their implementation for industrial installations;
• Strong understanding and knowledge of systems such as heat recovery, renewable energy and industrial processes;
• Experience with developing technical documentation (descriptions, technical specifications, spreadsheets, quantity and equipment maps, measuring maps, evaluation of errors and ommissions, etc);
• Dinamic, proactive and able to work in a team;
• Fluent in English (both spoken and written);
• Availability to travel both nationally and abroad.
