WinPower, S.A. participated in the H2tALENT 3rd General Assembly, held in Lisbon, contributing to the strategic discussion on the conditions required for the success of the Alentejo Green Hydrogen Valley.
João Camões, Head of Hydrogen Business Unit at WinPower, S.A., represented the company in the round table dedicated to the topic “Conditions for the success of the Alentejo Green Hydrogen Valley”, joining representatives from industry, academia, regional authorities and policy-making entities.
The session provided an important platform to discuss the governance, infrastructure, industrial and market conditions required to scale green hydrogen solutions and support the development of a strong hydrogen ecosystem in the Alentejo region.
In this context, WinPower shared its perspective on the importance of resilience, technical feasibility and long-term planning in creating the conditions for successful green hydrogen projects, both within the national framework and as part of the broader European energy transition.
The discussion reinforced the relevance of cooperation between public entities, industry players, research institutions and infrastructure stakeholders in building a competitive and sustainable hydrogen value chain.
