In August, the island of São Vicente, in Cabo Verde, was struck by a severe tropical storm, bringing intense rainfall, widespread flooding and, tragically, loss of life. Entire communities were left without access to electricity and water, homes and schools were destroyed, and many families saw their daily lives profoundly affected.

In this context, and in response to this emergency situation, the WinPower team mobilised to support the affected population.
Over the past few weeks, an internal donation initiative was organised, involving employees from different areas, with the aim of providing tangible support to the communities of São Vicente. The campaign enabled the collection of clothing and household textiles, school supplies and non-perishable food items, reflecting the spirit of solidarity and commitment that defines the company.
The donations, carefully prepared by the team, are now on their way to Cabo Verde.
