As part of the construction of the Technology Park Cabo Verde – NOSi Data Centre, the emergency backup power station is considered a critical component of all infrastructure. It guarantees its non-stop operation profile, crucial in Data Centre facilities.
NOSi is a public business entity (EPE), and the implementation of this project aims to promote innovation and e-governance, support public policies in the field of information and communication technologies and e-governance, and guarantee security and data protection of the State, among others.
Our Solution
WinPower designed, supplied, installed, and commissioned an emergency power station with two containerized diesel gensets PRP mode, equipped with all the related auxiliary systems and a local HHI interface system.
The control system was prepared for load demand / baseload and load sharing able to start in case of an energy supply fault with a communication interface with the Data Center SCADA system.
The Results
WinPower delivered a turnkey solution for the mechanical and electrical equipment of the Emergency Power Station. We ensured the continued operation of the installation without interruptions and delivered a reliable, robust, and state-of-the-art solution, from design to engineering and construction.
