WINPOWER SPONSORS PARTICIPATION IN RALLY LISBOA
This year, on the second edition of the Lisbon Rally, WinPower had two if its employees as participants and sponsored Marco Reis (the pilot) and Volodymyr Velykyy (co-pilot) to partake of this event, which took place between the 17th and 19th of May.
Marco and Volodymyr raced through 89 km of 8 assessment challenges in asphalt on a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VII. The competition started and ended in Parque das Nações and passed through multiple stages from Arruda dos Vinhos to the Upperpart of Lisbon.
About their participation, Marco and Volodymyr expressed: “(…) this was the most challenging rally of the championship, which implicated from us a very careful and controlled management. Despite this being unknown and distant to the team, we obtained a very positive result that allowed us to maintain the 4th place on the Regional South Portugal Rally 2022.”
Marco also stated the following: “I would like to acknowledge WinPower for the support and guidance that allows me to achieve my professional goals and reach my personal objectives as a rally driver.”
WinPower is proud to announce that the contestants placed in 13th place out of 53 competitors with a difference of 5.21.7 minutes from the winner. Congratulations!
